Description

Feviseal HY 300 gun grade is a one part moisture curing high modulus hybrid sealant. It has an excellent adhesion over a wide variety of substrates & is Paint-able with most common industrial paints. This sealant has been specifically formulated as a non staining sealant

Typical Applications

It is specially formulated for making permanent high strength elastic bonding between construction materials like,Bonding of metal (stainless steel, Aluminum, Steel, etc.), Rubber (Natural Rubber, Synthetic Rubber, Silicone Rubber, EPDM etc.), Natural Materials (Wood, Plywood, Leather, Paperboard etc.), Inorganic (Concrete, Mortar,  Natural Stone, Tile, Glass, Porcelain etc.) & Plastic ( Nylon, PVC, ABS,Polycarbonate etc.)

As an elastic adhesive for

• Cover plates, gaskets and coverings
• Acoustic ceiling tiles.
• Floor mouldings and door sills.
• Light weight construction materials
• Wood or metal and door frames.
• Roof tiles.

As an elastic joint sealer for

• Air ducts and high vacuum systems.

Precautions & Limitations

• Maximum width for application in a joint is 30 mm.
• Sealant will not adhere to substrates with contamination and traces of bitumen.
• Adhesion of the sealant must only be on two opposite faces.
• Do not carry out sealing operations during hot weather conditions
• Product should be used within 24 hours of opening the sausage and should be closed properly after use.
• Do not apply at a temperature below 5°C.
•  The cured sealant can be painted over with water based paint, however owing different nature of these coatings,the compatibility should be tested before application. For alkyd paints a suitable water-based undercoat must be used
